So when i bought my 98 eclipse it already had an after market exhaust, I went to the beach a couple days ago and was slapped with a fine for noise ordinance. The officer said if i got a new muffler or made mine quieter the ticket will get dismissed. the only problem is i don't have a lot of money for a new muffler, isn't there a cheap quick? I looked at resonators but i don't know if they're a universal fit or specific to each exhaust.

 

First off, it would help if you told us what car you had, and what exhaust system is on the car.

 

Get a silencer for the muffler.

 

i was just going to say that, order a silencer or reducer from summit or something
