Default a few problems

First post on the forum and I would like to ask for a little help. I just bought a 91 eclipse for a winter car/maybe project car some day. I have a wierd noise coming from the right front of the car. Both CV boots are ripped but it seems to be more gear sounding. When I accelerate it makes the noise but once I let off the gas or just slightly push the gas it sounds fine. Is this tranny? bearings? Any suggestions would be great. Also my back right break stuck for a about 2 miles. I dont know if parking break stuck or what but I had a glowing orange rotor. Its fine now but has anyone had this problem. Other then that it is a very clean car. 2.0 dohc 5sp. THanks for the help.

Nathan

Default RE: a few problems

never experienced that problem... I don't think that the tranny would make a noise in the front right side of your car though, sounds like the CV's but you said they are ok? any help out there??
