front steering problem
I have this problem with my front balljoint on the driver side. Eveytime i turn my wheel or hit a bump in the road i get a metal on metal screehing sound. I took it to a shop and they tell me that its my control arm balljoint and it needs to be replaced. Its all one piece so it will be pretty expensive. I get a second opinion on base and they tell me it is the radious arm balljoint that is also all in one piece. The rubber gromet is totally destroyed and i was wandering how hard it was to replace that part and where i could get one for a reasonable price. Any help would be appreciated. thank you

RE: front steering problem
You could always get one from a wrecking yard or a parts store. However, if you have not done any of this type of work then this could be quiet time consuming. The rubber gromet is a very important part as it keep the grease surounding the metal parts and prevents friction.
