your un-screwing them from the back so looking at the rotor you have to turn clockwise. What i needed to do it, because mine were kinda rusted too, was get a large socket wrench (around 1-1.5' in length) cuz that gives you more torque. It really can be a pain in the ***. You are turning the wheel also right? Cuz turning the wheel will give you alot more access to the area. Then just give it hell. If you still have some trouble the spray it down with some PBblaster. That will loosen up the rust. Good luck
BTW are you changing the pads or the rotors, cuz if its just the pads you dont even need to take the whole caliper off. There are 2 different sets of screws. One set screws in the parts that whole the pad in place. And the main bolts that hold the caliper in place
