Today my car battery died. So I went and got a new one. Now my car has an insanely rough idle when coming to a stop. Whats wrong with my car? And what do I need to do to get it fixed?

 

What kind of car do you have and do you have a check engine light?

 

Sounds to me like all you have is a bad battery terminal. Check the connections and make sure they arnt corroded and if they are stripped then i would just buy new ones. They are cheap enough. i had this exact problem. I thought it was the battery and it turned out to just be the terminals

 

Its a 2001 Eclipse GT. v6 3.0
