Default help

I have questions that maybe someone can help me out with.. My air conditioning was low on refrigerant, so I put some in and it still does not cool. It now makes a sound like you are running over the ridges on the side of the interstate. Also, my compressor does not stay on when the air is on full blast.. Could this be my compressor is about to completely die? If someone could help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Another classic 'don't touch it if you don't understand it'.

You over filled it, and could have destroyed it. Take it to someone.

I didn't overfill it, but what my brother did was drain some of the freon out and put some oil in it. It seems to work better. Not 100 percent perfect, but better than it was. Thanks for the advice though

sounds overcharged, never add oil unless you changed a part or maybe if all your freon leaked out. then add just a little, like an oz or two.
