hi i have mitsubishi eclipse 1995, it used to shut off on me while driving and i took it to the mechanic and he said it was the crankshaft sensor. so he replaced the crankshaft sensor and it stopped the car from shutting off while driving, But now the car stutters, kicks it feels like feels like its not getting enough air to accelerate. when it reaches 2.5 Rpms on 2nd,3rd,4th,5th gears it kicks like that and holds back a little. i was wondering if anyone had some suggestions on what it migth be that the car cant accelarate from 2.5-3.5 rpmms after that the car seems to be fine. i gotta cruise on the highway on like 80 because the car is perfect because thats when it passes 3.5 rpms.It feels like hell trying to get it past 3.5 rpms on those gears especially on the highway. I was also wondering on how much it is to diagnostic the car at the dealers. i dont feel like wasting much becuase im a poor college students. i guess ill have to drive like a grandma for a while.

 

You could always buy a diagnostic tool, they aren't expensive and they are well worth the money cause u can find out what ur problem is and find a specialist to fix it or do it ur self if u got the skill. I would check out prices on it on Ebay.
