I just bought a 95 eclipse gsx turbo awd ( i am a newbie to this car / scene )
problem is i bought it with a bad tranny. hole in the bell housing i beleive.
I called a few slavage yards and they said that there were a few trannys
for that make and model. Something to do with counting the no. of splines
on the shaft.
does anyone know how I could identify the tranny needed ? Is there a code on the tranny
and if so where ?

should/ can the vin help ?

does anyone have one for sale ?
