I have a Misubishi Verada which is 2002 model and my remote doesn't work as it won't unlock the door or have any other reactions!

It was ok yesterday until today, when I press the unlock\lock button, there is NO reaction to it. At first, I thought it might be the battery is flat so I would unlock it manually using the key. However, when I put the key inside the front door, it can slide it in BUT it won't unlock it!!!! So basically is it my remote completely useless? Or something wrong with the central locking inside????

Do you know anyone has experienced it or anyway to solve it???

Your respond would be greatly grateful as I am really fustrated now at the moment.

 

New Battery? I Think if not new remote

 

Don't you have 2? Try the other. If it behaves the same, the remote entry module may have died...

 

If module died that would be a pain in his pocket. I wonder how much are those remotes?
