I deleted your other thread in the 3000gt section you dont need 2

It sounds like a clutch slipping... is your car a manual Tranny? clutch going bad will make rpms float and eventually the car wont move at all. it there a nasty smell when this happens too?

well i know that with my auto it slips in the morning when its cold. I am guessing that i just need a fluid change, but with yours you are saying it happens all day and only over 30 mph. I definetely has to be a transmission problem.

One of three things....1.) Your fluid is very low 2.) Your torque convert it blown 3.) Your tranny its self it blow. So I would say check you fluid , see its its low, if its not smell it. If it smells burnt then head your self over to a tranny shop.

I know with the eclipses there is a limp mode to protect the tranny... Is your car shifting at all? Did your check engine light come on? Can you shift it manually into 2nd or Low?
