ok its a 1998 eclipse GS this is what it does it will run fine then start bogging out like its not getting the fuel it need (not the fuel filter already changed it). then sometimes it wont rev. past 4ooo rpm and it idles at 500-600 rpms not normal it usually idles at 950-1000 it guzzles gas like a mo fo when it does this little help please if you have any questions ask me!

 

Could be a couple things. Maybe a bad MAP sensor. An air leak possibly at the intake manifold. Thats all i can think of right now

 

I am betting on plugs or wires. Change that **** up

mine did that, i have a 1g, mine was plugs, they had water in the bottom of the holes, that or your wire casing is damaged,and they are grounding out to the block, check your MAF plug too, mine boggs out if its not plugged in.... it could also be the coil pack, im not sure though
