Default just bought 95 GSX need help

as the title says i jst bought a 95 gsx. im havin a bit of trouble with it the guy i bought it off of was a tool. now for the problem when i start it, it idles at like 1500rpms then drops down to around 100 or 200 rpms then kicks back up to 1500 so i changed the plugs, oil, annd valve cover gasket cuz oil was seeping out of the old one thinking this is the cheapest way to start fixing the problem. when i drove it i hammered into it a lil bit, and after it got to like 4500-5000 rrpms it was hardly pullin and it was cuttin out real bad and the head started tickin loud the turbo was spoolin and it blew off when i shifted so it was gettin plenty of air. this is my first boosted car so idk much about it... any ideas?
my buddy thinks its the head gasket
it has new water pump alternator and timing belt greddy exhaust and type rs blowoff valve
any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

One: Please write legibly. Good spelling and grammar isn't that hard.

Two: Is the BOV recirculated?

Three: Have you checked for boost leaks

Four: Don't listen to your buddy.

Like Sebba said, do a boost leak test and make sure the bov is recirc.

Recirc the bov to the intake and drive it again.

The tick is the lifters they get dirty and make noise. They make a 3g revised lifter that takes care of the noise.

Try a boost leak test, www.vfaq.com has instructions how to make one.
