doe anyone know or have an idea on what type of engine i have in my outlander. it is an ls model with a 2.4 sohc 16v

wasnt the 4g63 the dohc engine?

 

yes the 4g63 is dohc, the 4g64 is a 2.4 sohc, but im not sure if its the same engine or not

 

well thankyou... the new eclipses have the 4g64 dont they? or at least the wimpy models. but a 2.4L seems a little small for a suv. But maybe they have it geared well...
