Default Keyless entry

Just bought an 2003 Galant with one set of keys. Found a locksmith that will make a copy of the key for $65. I think thats a deal after calling the dealer. I also bought a remote from ebay for $20.
My question: Does anyone have the instructions on how to program the keyless remote?

i am almost certain that the key fob has to be programmed by the computer at the dealership...i know that is the case with mine..also, do you have sentry keys?

Here's the instructions:

1. Insert key into ignition. Leave in off position.
2. Using a jumper wire (I used a paper clip), connect pin 1 to pin 4 on the ODB connector. On my 2001 galant it was located on the driver side, under the dash near the center console. Pin one is on the top row-left side (the wide end of the connector is facing up). Pin 4 is on the same row moving left to right.
3. Within 10 seconds of connection, press the hazard button six times. Doors will lock and unlock one time.
4. Press either the lock or unlock button three times. Upon successful programming, doors will lock and unlock once
5. Repeat step 4 for the other transmitters.
6. Disconnect the programming wire and remove keys from ignition.
