Well you will only know if you need a new tranny once you change the clutch.

Well trannys are pretty durable and if it went that quickly... you sure as hell would know about it! Im willing to bet its just the clutch and a little wear on the tranny. I wish you the best of luck... and smack the kid that cant drive for me

 

I think it is a clutch to. I had that problem in another car a long time ago. Rule of thumb tell your son never let anyone drive his car EVER!!

 

Including family members... that one can be worse! lol

 

what, you think labor is free?


labor alone is about 550 bucks. the parts cost will vary, but should be around 350 bucks for factory stuff.

 

I thought you were saying a total of 800 just for the clutch, then the labor, i was like WTF
