Hey everyone, My names Amy and Im from Australia. I currently own a 1998 GLXi Lancer.. For the past 12months I've been experiencing some issues with it. Like when the car is idling, it will cut out every so few weeks or months.. But whatever is wrong with it has now officially stopped it from starting at all :-( For the past 2 days I've been trying to start it but haven't had any luck.. About a week ago I had a diagnostics test done on it at a Mitsubishi Dealership and it all came back clear :-/ I've replaced the spark plugs, but now starting to think it might have a blocked fuel line perhaps... ?! If anyone has had the same problem and had luck with finding what was wrong with it, your input would be greatly appreciated. Also just any suggestions would be great !

P.S When I say it wont start, I mean it still turns over, but just doesnt get going...

hey, yeah thats what my dad and mechanic thought, but as it turns out, it was the fuel cut off switch that was dodgy.. Apparently it was in pieces so after all that, my mechanic just disconnected it and the car has now been running perfect since lol Ive heard that these 'switches' can be an option in lancers but ive also heard people who are very paranoid get them installed... Either way, car is going good now :-)
