Hi,
I've got an '02 Diamante. The A/C blower is obviously blowing full bore based on the sound and the fact that cold air is coming from the side vents. However there is virtually no air coming from the center vents. There is pretty much nothing coming from the defroster vents on the windshield, or from the lower vents that direct air to your legs/feet.
If the car has been sitting for a while, upon starting the car and engaging the fan motor for the A/C, you can sometimes hear what sounds like it could be a plastic door or flap closing as the fan kicks in.
Any ideas on what the problem is? Major $$$, or fairly easy fix? Any help appreciated.
