Hey everyone I need to get some advice. I am not sure what to do but I have a 2011 Mitsubishi RVR or outlander sport in the states. Anyways, it is a rebuild, I bought it written off and I got got a friend too work on it for about two months (body work). It's on the road now, passed safety and etc. The only thing is that the SRS airbag light is on because we removed the side air bag on the driverside and the one on the seat, we never replaced it because of cost. Everything else works fine but I like to get this turn off. How can we get ride of this, is there a way to turn it off, any advice? Or is it something with the ECU or fuse? I read about using an OBD 2 scanner but do you need a certain program with it to turn it off or will it come come back again after a certain time?
