I just bought 99 GS eclipse...from dealership...and have had hella problems w/ it already. Clutch has been replaced, spark plugs, brake pads, trans fluid, and now their is oil slowly seeping from the engine manifold. All the bolts are in place and it is just moistened w/ oil around the seal. I took it to the dealership today to get it looked at...not mitsubishi dealer...they lifted it and there is also oil dripping all down inside -- they dont know exactly what it is yet but are leaning towards head gasket...if this is in fact the problem is this car worth keeping?? I am used to the reliability of honda engines and was wondering if this thing is just going to be one thing breaking after another. Its got 83k on it -- With the head gasket and clutch already going up I was wondering if you think this will ultimately lead to other major problems or is customary for chrylser engines.

You could have a burnt valve... is it burning oil any?

My car had some studs missing on the head and created it to leak oil out of a few holes...
