My teenage daughter has a 2005 Lancer OZ rally series. I am currently replacing the regulator and motor on the drivers side. Door panel is off, new regulator and motor is in place, however the new motor came with the power cord attached with a 2 pin connecter and as far as I can tell, the wiring harness in the car is a 5 pin I'm assuming, even though there are actually only 2 wires in the connector. Sorry if these are stupid questions but I am not a mechanic at all. Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing something? When the new regulator and motor was purchased online, it was made for this specific model. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
