Default Radio Problem, Have code, How to Proceed?

Hi:
I just serviced my 2000 Montero. I disconnected the Battery and got the "CODE" on my radio. I have the code but I don have my owners manual. What buttons should I press to enter my code to get the radio working?

Please help

Thanks

if I remember my Eclipse it was the 1.2.3.4 radio memory buttons. so if your code is 6752 for example. I think you would hit memory 1 six times memory 2 seven times memory 3 five times and memory 4 twice. im pretty sure that is what to do. If not you get three tries to get it right any way and after the 3rd try youll need to diconenct the battery again.

After entering the code using the procedure listed above- you have to hit one of the FUNCTION buttons (either TAPE, CD, FM, or AM) to start up the unit. Just press them one at a time until the unit fires up.
