i'm trying to help my brother so here goes. his son got water in the engine of his eclipse and says it won't crank, he says the oil is fine so i figure he bent a rod with wayer in the cyl. he wants to replace the engine it a 340a. will a neon 340a work with the eclipse head fit? the car has auto trans. will a 2.4 out of a caravan fit with the eclipse head? how hard is it to pull there engines to do this? thanks for the help in advance

 

Well just do you know, you have a 420a engine in that eclipse

 

wow, if you don't even know the correct engine that's in it then maybe you should have someone else doing the job..I think by what you're saying that your enging would be the 420A which is non-turbo.
