Replacing exterior door handle

hello i have a 96 eclipse and im trying to replace the exterior door handle on drivers side. I got the panel off but am having issues with getting to the screw. The lower left side of the window is in the way...anyone have the same issues? thanks

the passenger handle on my 05 zs is broken. what do i need to do to get the handle off? is it a door card off job?
