rs to srt4 swap
heres something diffrent i dont think its ben done or even tryed but the neon the engines are pretty much exactly alike to the 420a in the RSeclipse but near the newer models of the neons they made the intake manifold on the front of the engine so the exhuast manifolds would be on the back sorta like the srt4 engine does anyone have any idea if itd be possible to swap an srt4 engine into a rs eclipse

yeah im probably not even gonna swap it out at all for a diffrent engine but i bought the eclipse for 1500$ cause it has a bad vavle so the head is done on it im just gonna try and get another 420A and put some cams in it and couple bolt ons and a turbo and just **** with that for awhile it should be just as fast or faster then a gst

I heard about the swap but i dont know if its actually been done before. i think you should research it and try it. I think it will be much cheaper

actually i know someone that just bought a str4 egnine for about 2000 and payed about 500 to drop it in a ford escort. but he took it to the track and the engine flew through the passenger side after a coulple of runs.
