Default spark plugs and wires

hey what kind of spark plugs and wires are best for a 97 eclipse 2.0 n/t engine? the idiot my wife took the car to put some cheap *** Bosch plugs and wires in. so i gotta buy the RIGHT ones....i know im gonna buy some NGK's but not sure what model works the best. let me know. thanks

Bosch isnt' a good plug to run with.. If you go to an automotive store and just tell them you need NGK's for your year car, they will pull up the number for your plugs. Plugs are only one size. the only differnce is the name brand...(and performance)

The 2.0 NT (420A) will run well even with the factory Champions that they came with. They might be cheaper and more readily available than NGK's. Quality wires are a must with this engine as even the factory wires have a short life expectancy and can cause all kinds of drivability problems. Just be sure that the spark plug tubes are not showing any signs of oil seepage past the tube seals . This is a VERY common problem in that particular engine as the accumilated oil in the sparkplug tubes can cause a load of driveabilty problems. Good Luck!
