Ok i need some help on this one. I just recently put int a stage 3 clutch in my car and now when i go reverse an after i put it back on gear i hear a pop noise i dont know if its the axles maybe and i also hear a grind noise in the tranny im not sure if its because its a new clutch or because is stage 3 can some help please.

 

Sounds to me like its having trouble just getting into gear. You probably just need to adjust your clutch pedal with the screw and bolt on the back of the pedal. Just keep playing around with it till it feels like its fully engaging/disengaging at the right points

 

Ok so both problems can be just that it needs to be adjusted. Because that pop noise i can feel it in the car. An its weird it does it when going on reverse and it when i go foward it seems like it pops it back in place.

 

The noise is wierd. Do you feel anything when it does it? Is it just going into gear, so it kinda seems like the pop is the tranny going into the gear. I would just try the adjustment first and see how well that works. To adjust you just loosen the nut that is on the screw, then turn the screw one way or the other (i dont remember which way is which) but just play around with it, then retighten the nut

 

i had a pop noise when i was breaking in my clutch and after i adjusted the pedal it didn't make it anymore.

 

Ok so the tranny is good now. But the pop noise i notice is the engine moving so i am guessing my motor mounts need to change they were not that good anyways but i didnt think that stage 3 would make that much of a diff. So wat do you guys think is it the motor mounts causing the engine to move now and its only when punch a lil on first gear. I took it to a shop they said mostlikely it was that or braket busshings.
