Exclamation Timing Belt

First of all, I am new to this forum, so I appologize if I created the thread in the wrong place, the main problem was that I was driving my Eclipse 95 GST like at 60 mph, suddenly the car died and it didn't start at all. I just checked it and I saw that the timing belt didn't broke, but dome of the teeth did, like five teeth to be specific. Looks like something made the belt get stuck or something.
My biggest fear is that it might got the valves damaged and I may have to replace the head. Please can anyone tell me if there is a chance anything happened to the valves??
Thank you very much.

well if the timing is off and the belt did slip then my guess is that something did happen to the valves. But you are gonna need a compression test done on the cylinders to determine this
