Default Tranny Plastic Where Shift **** is broken

Hey guys, I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, the other day, my girlfriend leaned against my shift **** and somehow pushed the plastic inbetween down out of the groove, so now, if i want to shift it myself in sportronic mode, the plastic pops making a loud sound. How do i get down there to fix it or is their a trick i can do to pull back up the plastic which was pushed down? Thanks guys.

You will have to take the top case of of the console and fit the plastic back into the grooves on the underside of the case.
