would the evo tranny fit in to a 95 eclipse gsx?

i cant verify this but id say no. even if it does its gonna be very expensive. if you want a strong tranny try team rip engineering of shep racing for a gooood tranny and pretty cheap

yeah thats what i was thinking but i figure since there really wasnt a big diffrence in the two engins that i might have a shot of putting one in....... do u also have an eclipse..... if so what have u had done to it?

in a nutshell i have a 6bolt swap with 2gen pistons/head, all arp. big 16g@21psi , 660 injectors, safc, act 2600 clutch, other supporting mods..

Do you know where would be a good place to do research and some sites of were the swap has been done because im goin to just do the 5 speed and i really havent found anything other then one other site but there are no pics.... and thanks for the TRE web page i emailed them to get more info....
