I have a 1995 Montero sport, travling along it stalls out , trans hot light comes on, I turn the car off, restart it, it goes time for a bit....sometimes I can pump the gas and keep it going, other times when I push the gas to the floor it dies...anyone have any ideas as to cause?????

i had that happen in my 95 it drove me nuts i could not believe it was a $2.00 fix
