i have a 2nd gen eclipse rs 2.0 dohc that is an automatic, i wanted to get a gst but the mileage on this was great...........anyway i want to change it over to a manual and i was just wondering if it is worth it and what do i need to get besides a new trans and a clutch

 

You can swap the auto for a manual. You will need everything from the donor car that is associated with the transmission...no TCU though. The pedal, cables, tranny, etc.
I can understand your want to keep your car but swap out the tranny. It is very hard to find a low milage car with everything you want from it.

quite a bit... just off the top of my head you'll need, trani, axels, clutch, ecu, clutch petal, shifter... i mean prolly lookin at about 2-3k if you do the work your self.
