I was driving it and after I started out from a stop sign the car would only creep along even if I had the gas pedal to the floor. I drove it "slowly" off the road and placed it in park. I tried it again in Drive and the same thing occurred. I tried it in Reverse and the same thing. I then placed it back in Drive and it started out doing the same for about 3-4 seconds then all of a sudden it started driving like normal again. Now my TCM light has been on for about the last year. I know it needs a electronic module replaced but I never ever use that feature so I haven't replaced it. I'm not sure if this is part of the problem or not. Although the light that is usually on all of the time was now blinking until I hit the TCM "off" button. I hit it off about 15 seconds after the car started driving normal again so again, I'm not too sure this had much to do with it but because it was now blinking, I can't rule that out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I am replacing the TCL module (since it has been bad for a long time) and I found a TRS on ebay too. I finally cAME TO THE REALIZATION THAT THE tps IS MORE THAN LIKELY THE ISSUE HERE. iT HASN'T DONE IT AGAIN BUT, WHEN IT COMES TO ELECTRICAL OR MECHANICAL AS FAR AS THAT GOES YOU JUST NEVER KNOW WHEN IT MIGHT OCCUR AGAIN. tHANK YOU FOR THE REPLY ..!

 

I never did get a code pop up when it occurred...? That is curious...
