So here's the problem: My 2001 Mitsubishi Eclispe GT spyder is making a knocking noise. I am not exactly sure where it is coming from but it is only audible while my car is idling. I have had it in a shop and they thought it was the Fuel pump, so they replaced that, that didn't work, then they thought it was the fuel injectors, replaced those, not the issue. They also tested the fuel lines because they are rattling and they thought that might be the source of the noise but nothing appears to be wrong with the fuel lines. They thought the alt. might be overpowering the pump so they tested that, and that wasn't the issue either. Just thought I'd post on here and see if anyone might have some idea what the issue was.
