I just bought a 1990 galant gs with the dohc 2.0 and the 5 spd. When I drive it at 3000 rpm it bogs down and wont go past it. It idles rough as well. I have tried to search for this but it comes up with 0 results, PLEASE help. Thanks.

It has new plugs and wires. I took apart the intake assembly and have the mass air flow sensor or whatever sensor that is sitting out in the open with just the air filter attached to it and i drove it. It lets me get up to 4500 rpm unless i put my foot in it then it just boggs down.
