ASX Badges in the US
#3
Thanks for the response. The problem I've been having has been finding someone who ships to the US. For some reason they'll ship all over Europe but not to the US.

I'll make an enquiry at our dealership on my next visit there, and see if they can offer some advice on how to get them.
Is your car a 4x4 model? We have 4 versions of the ASX here (Outlander Sport in USA), ASX 2 basic model, ASX 3 a higher specification and both of these have front wheel drive only and offered with a 1.6 Petrol engine and 5 speed manual Gearbox, or a 1.6 Diesel engine with a 6 speed manual Gearbox.. ASX 4 is a slightly higher spec than the 3, but with 4 wheel drive the engines get a bit more complicate, offering manual or automatic transmission with a choice of 2.2 Petrol and Diesel engines, plus the 1.6 Diesel is also available for this model I think. Finally there is the ASX 5 top of the range model with a higher grade of leather seating in Black or Ivory type colour, and with standard automatic transmission. You can find the full UK Specifications on the Mitsubishi Motors UK website.
Regards
Telfer.
PS. I quite like the Outlander Sport name, as it makes sense to use it for the ASX range as both cars share the Outlander Floor Pan/Chassis underpinnings etc. T.

Thanks for the response. I bought the Limited Edition US spec. It is the 2.0L MIVEC base model but they add 18" black wheels, a 6.5 Smartphone screen with Apple carPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, rearview camera, Super-wide HID headlights with three position adjustment, foglights, heated driver and passenger seats, black side mirrors, aluminum pedals, alloy fuel door, red stitched interior accents and a Limited Edition badge. They leave the car at the base price as a loss leader. I got it for $19,900.00 USD

Hi. Just had the ASX in to the dealer for attention to a Recall to have the Struts on the Tailgate replaced. Unfortunate the person who could have helped with the Badge enquiry was not available.
However the car will be going in for its annual service in a couple of months and will see if I can get the information then.

Telfer.
