will 18" rims fit ????

i have a set of rims that are 225/40/18" that i put on a 2003 es they fit but they rub a little if i put 215/35/18" will they still rub????

it rubbing on the inner wheel well when i have the wheel all the way turned and if i hit certain bumps i assume it hits the top a little because i hear somthing rubbing
