Default 98 Montero Sport V6 - TPS

My truck lost power while on the expressway and ran hot. A mechanic ran a diagnostic on it (the check engine light never came on) and several codes came up.
PO442 EVAP
PO510 TPS
P1750-transmission
PO303- 3

So he replaced the TPS, spark plugs, wires and Coil #, radiator cap and gas cap. This was done on thursday. The truck started up fine that night but was still hesitating on take off and switching gears. This morning I got it in again, it won't turn over. Like it isn't getting any gas.

Question: is there a certain way the TPS should have been put on the truck? The mechanic told me that I shouldn't put any more money in the truck, cause I Probably need a new transmission. He won't even come over and look at what he has done to make sure the TPS was put on correctly. He said there isn't any special way of putting it on.
