Hello all! I just bought a 03 Lancer OZ-Rally Edition Automatic Trans with 115k miles. Car is in EXCELLENT CONDITION IN & OUT! No major mechanical issues (as I can tell), but would like some good solid advice!

Two potential issues I encountered while I have been driving it for the last few days.
1- While at a traffic light, the car seems to shake a bit more than I am used to. Only happens when the car is in gear at a stop. The RPM's are about between 600-700 while at a traffic light at an idle. Once I shift the car into nuetral, it seems to go away.

2- Automatic transmission; Cars seems to be shifting a bit roughly between 2nd and 3rd gears. Not a major thud or anything like that, but just seems to be not as smooth as every other gear. It doesn't do it everytime, but most of the time.

Would like to know if these problems are a potentially bigger problem, or are these issues categorized as "normal driving conditions" for this car? I am new to Mitsubishi and would greatly appreciate any information that could help or guide me into determining what these issues may be.

Ohh, one other thing, any comments on extended warranties would also be helpful.
