Mitsubishi gearboxes on different sides...
This might be a bit of a stupid question really... I've been trying to think of a solution for a mid / rear engined 4wd project, and it occurred to me that mitsubishi put some of their gearboxes on the opposite side.. does this mean the engines run the opposite way?
I figure the gearboxes will probably have some kind of transfer setup rather than an engine that runs backwards.. but you never know...
The theory is that if the engine runs backwards it can be bolted to a 4 wheel drive drivetrain which has been turned around (Engine in back) and it'll drive the right way.....
