Default Buying a Galant

Hello everyone,
I’m very new on this forum, I don’t even own a Mitsubishi. I drive a Deville (N*) but I have good intentions and I want to buy a Galant.
I’ve been looking for a used Galant (2003-2005), I haven’t test drove one yet because I’m a bad negotiator . If I like a car I’ll buy it and I’ll probably not consider some of the major repairs that have to be done on the car. I would like to know how difficult it is to work on Galant, what should I look for when buying one. Any advice would be appreciated. I am a DIY guy but sometimes I’m afraid to mess up too much with the car.
I also found a 2009 Galant with 14000 mi for $ 11.000 or with 5-6000mi for $13-14.000. Are these good prices is the factory warranty good?
Thank you much and sorry for all these questions from a “new guy”

now than mate we will only pay about one thousand pound for a 2003 galant and that is if it comes with everything, they arent worth a lot of money here. u can do most things yourself if u have the basic knowledge or join a good club who love the same car u buy. all u can do is check the paper work with the car any untoward noises on test drive and also these cars can rust so check underneath and engine bay
