Hi there,
Ive just brought a Lancer gs4 1.8 petrol. The car is a 58 plate and covered 65000 miles. Im havining conflicting answers from a couple of dealers as to wether the car has a belt or a chain ,could anybody please help an let me know ,or could anyone tell me how I can check myself please.

 

Take a few bolts of the cover,you should be able to pull it back enough to see if its belt or chain.
