alright so heres alittle back ground to lead up to my story first.

I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS and i am looking into perhaps doing an engine swap. At first i was thinking of looking into maybe putting in a 2006 or new 3.8L V6 eclipse motor into my car but then i stumbled across the mitsubishi gto but i know very little about them.

so now what i was wondering is. Is it possible to fit a twin turbo'd V6 from a gto into a car such as mine. im really interested in the VR-4 engine but trouble is that they are an awd car and i dont know if that can be switched to a 2wd.

I know that this whole idea sounds nuts and most would say its a waste of time but im just looking into this right now out of curiousity so if anyone has any ideas on if any of this is possible then please reply.

 

i really doubt its possible since you are trying to fit an awd engine into a FWD car.

 

I really want to make a little more speed either by building my 2.4 sohc or by swapping the motor completely need some pointers and ideas
