Eclipse Recall
FYI 03 and 04 Eclipse Owners:
I just took my 04 Spyder to the dealer. They told me of a recall for a part on the fuel system. This affects 03 and 04 Eclipses. Refer to Recall C0407C. Consumer Reports says,
'03-'04 Mitsubishi (various models)
Pressure could build in fuel-injection system and cause return hose to become dislodged. If that happens, fuel could leak and cause fire. [:@]
Models: 6,544 cars, including Eclipse, Eclipse Spyder, and Galant.
What to do: Have dealer check fuel-pump pressure and make necessary repairs.
