nope ended up reconditioning the egr and deep cleaning intake, throttle body, manifold & new map sensor couldn't get the right plates anywhere and didn't want to use plain rough cut bits of metal 🫣

 

Actually... the gasket 1582A209 in the picture (right one of course because you don't want to contaminate EGR valve with soot anymore, although left one is more easy to replace) is the prefect template for the blanking plate! I am going to make one from a stainless steel 2-3mm thick plate. It is only to drill 2 holes and cut rounded romb-like shape. I have spare gasket, so it will be easy...
