just bought '04 Montero limited, I would like to change all the fluids (minus coolant for now) I don't have the owner manual so need some help already 5 qts. mobil1 and filter,looks like I have to remove the skid plates to get to the drain plug and filter ?,, tranny is kinda reddish brown I know it calls for sp3 but what do you guys think of Valvoline maxlife full synthetic multi vehicle (according to Valvoline website its equivalent to sp2 & sp3). besides draining the fluids in the pan how can I drain the tc does it have a drain plug. does the transfer case take the same tranny fluid. front and rear differential what weight does it use and can I use regular dino juice or does it require synthetic gear lube. thanks, fred
