Out of curiosity I am wondering how much everyone paid for their paint jobs. Also, has anyone changed the original color and how much does that cost?

 

I used to paint cars long ago, nothing too graphic, I always liked solid colors. I usually charged around $1500. But I had my own shop and did it as moonlighting for extra money. I was the cheapest around and I did a good job, word of mouth and I was busy ALL the time. Now I just do my own repainting. But today, a friend of mine seen how I fixed my Eclipse and now he wants me to paint one of his cars. When I did a complete paint color switch, I charged depending on the car, usually $2000-$2500.
