got my car finally . now for maintaining it .if someone could please post the best oil,fuel addatives, wax, lubes,spark plugs,or anything else u can think of to keep my car in tip top running condition and looking great . thank you butch

 

ok i got you on this one, quakerstate Q for oil, i dont have fuel additives just run a high octane or sumthin like that, best wax is DuPont teflon, spark plugs either NGK Denso or bosch...

 

stay away from bosch plugs

 

Now that we have 2 varying opinions for Bosch...anyone care to substantiate their opinions? Personally I have never used them so I'd like to know why for both sides you feel they are good/bad.

 

he never really stated good or bad. But there is a guy on here that had been working with mitsu for like 15 years and he also says stay away from bosch.... i think that just about clears that up.

and best wax is Meguiers Gold class....atleast on a black car... I have been through 100s of types of wax take it from a car detailing FREAK I mean I even wax my vavle cover door jams underside of the hood ect ect ect

 

For oil and filters ive always used Mobile 1. And i agree with emonz on the wax. I used it on my red talon and it works great. And i have used the bosch spark plugs and never had a problem with them for over a year. Maybe they could go bad before or after that. Maybe they didnt even give the best performance. IDK but i just know that i never had any issue with them. The mitsuguy on here had stated that the factory spark plugs were the best to get. So i guess with those its up to what you really want to spend on them.

 

with my black '99 GS-T for oil I use Mobil 1 fully synthetic it works good, plugs and wires I use NGK, wax I use the Meguiar's also..keep your wheels waxed too if you have custom ones..
