Default Heat Trouble during warmup

There was no heat in the car this morning during idle. I did drive the car but warming up.It was blowing cold. The car temp went up quite alot and the radiator flusd seemed OK, although the overflow was very high. Could be a Thermostat isssue ? and if so where is it located on a mitsubishi evolution VIII 2005

Thank You,
Mark ( MJL3912@yahoo.com )

you mean you have no heat during warm up? your car isnt supposed to have heat until it warms up. your heat depends on how hot your coolant is. coolant runs through your heater core and thats where you get your cabin heat from.

If the car is warmed up and the car blows cold you probably have an issue w/ the heater core or a temperature blend door.
