no just because the car was cursed. Betweenthe timing belt going and replacing the head, and then throwing a rod and replacing the motor.

Crazy, well I was talking with some people and they said its nota good idea to turbo a non turbo because it throws off the compression and takes the engine life away by 40%. true?? I need my eclipse to last at least 3 more years until i graduate. do you think if everything was fine on your GS, would it have lasted with the turbo kit? Because they said that it will maybe last 25,000 miles lol

ok for the record my Eclipse was not broken in properly by the first owner.
The 3G GS\RS can be turboed with 0 problems TRUST ME I KNOW. there are guys who are making a little over 300HP on the stock motor with turbo kits made by Russ Sanderlin (Tearstone) I have seen them in person and some have had there carsr turboed for about 3 years now with no motor trouble.
If you get the car tuned properly you wont have any worries at all if you stay under 14 PSI youll be fine too. I would stay at 10PSI but the car can handle 15 but why push it. 10 PSI will make around 280WHP that will be plenty fast and with a good tune plenty reliable

Yeah see thats what I am saying. Exactly what I am saying. Tuned at 280 horse can beat stock Trans AM WS6's. So I was planning on getting my kit from www.turbokits.com.
Think that is good?
