to get the most out of ur eclipse w/o a turbo.
CAI - 200
header back exhaust w/ high flow cat or test pipe - close to 1000
raised compression pistons - to still run 93 octane i woudn't go above 10.5:1 (they have them at howell automotive) - 400
stroking is a good idea when doing internal work but extremely expensive!!!!! - 2500
cams will liven the head up - 550
and a 50-75 shot - 500
new injectors to fuel you up - 265
some kind of tuning device - minimum of 200
wideband - 225
all this may get you up to the 220-230whp mark. OR you could sell this car, get a gs-t or gsx- put an exhaust, intake and mbc on it for about 1500 and be faster.

 

no prob...the tranny mods give youa lil more torque....also to keep your ride get small stuff like great oil (id go royal purple or Penzoil) and stuff like Z-Max for gas and engine...it actually worked for my montero...dont forget if u got all that power under the hood...youll need to equal that out with a good set of brakes and suspension....

 

he won't be getting enough power n/a to need suspension and brake mods. that's just wasted money if you ask me othe than mabey some lowering springs. IMO there is no point what so ever to put money into this car for power then there are soooo many other cars out there that you can pull power out of so much easier - 240, honda, 300zx, srt-4, evo, gs-t, gsx, z24, wrx etc etc.
